A FAMILY STAY IN MT. PLEASANT AT HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES
South Carolina

Recently my family and I took a cruise with Carnival. When we investigated departure ports, we were excited to learn that we could depart from Charleston, South Carolina. We had never been to the city and wanted to see for ourselves why so many have fallen in love with it.

Having only two days for our visit, we had to be very selective about what we wanted to see.  It was important to stay in a location that made it easy to see a number of attractions (after all, we didn’t have much time!). After extensive research, we determined that we wanted to stay in Mt. Pleasant – close to Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum. We could visit the museum and it wouldn’t be too far (only three miles) to visit historic Charleston.

Now that we knew the area in which we wanted to stay, the next step was to find the perfect hotel for our whirlwind trip. It turns out, this was an easy decision. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Mt. Pleasant offered exactly what we needed.

We appreciate the hotel’s standard of quality and their commitment to being green with their energy choices. The hotel itself is quite lovely. It had the right balance of being modern yet it is still warm and inviting.  You’ll enjoy comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, free parking, friendly hotel staff and so much more.  The hotel also offers a free breakfast. I am a vegetarian and the rest of my family is not – we all found the breakfast to be filling and delicious.

There are a lot of hotel choices when you visit the area, but I believe that the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Mt. Pleasant is by far an outstanding choice. Not only does it offer all the amenities that most families are looking for, it’s affordable and still close to attractions. You’ll be glad you chose to stay with them when you visit the area!
