Discovery Princess

Discovery Princess launched just a little over a year ago and offers amazing features that are exclusive to Princess’s ships. The Discovery Princess is the 6th and the final Royal Class ship in the Princess Cruises line. Other ships within the Royal Class fleet include Enchanted Princess (2020); Sky Princess (2019); Majestic Princess (2017); Regal Princess (2014); and Royal Princess (2013). Typically, Discovery Princess carries approximately 3,300 passengers.

Onboard Highlights

The ship features plenty of delicious options for all your dining needs. From the World Fresh Marketplace & Bakery, the Main Dining Rooms (Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan), a selection of specialty dining restaurants and other passenger favorites such as the Salty Dog Grill, Gigi’s Pizzeria and more!

The ship also offers four pools and ten hot tubs, along with a SeaWalk (unique glass walkway).  A wide variety of entertainment is available on the ship and each night offers something different – from Broadway-style shows, singers, comedians, magicians and others.  Passengers will also enjoy opportunities to take ballroom dance lessons, bingo and a number of other fun classes! Evening fun includes movies under the stars and an onboard casino (only open at sea).

For your childcare needs, the ship offers the Camp Discovery Treehouse for children ages 3-7. The Lodge is available for middle-school-aged kids ages 8-12. And the Beach House is the spot for your teenagers. Warning, you may not see your teen much after they make new friends!

Indulge yourself at the Lotus Spa and the fitness center. After all, you are on vacation.

Princess Discovery focuses on west coast cruises such as Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico and offers a number of port excursions for everyone. Whether you are an adventure-seeker or prefer a more laid-back experience, passengers will love all the options available.
