Our recent getaway to Pink Shell Resort was nothing short of wonderful. It was the kind of family trip that leaves you refreshed, smiling, and already planning your next visit before you have even checked out. When we stepped into our apartment, we were amazed. It was spacious and comfortable, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and even an enclosed patio perfect for enjoying the evening breeze. The view of the Gulf of Mexico stretched out before us, and each morning began with the soft sound of waves and a pastel sunrise that reminded us to slow down and enjoy every moment together. We spent every morning on the beach and then enjoyed the many pools while listening to live music!
Dining was a treat – Bongo’s Bar & Grill and Rae’s were both wonderful, offering delicious food and friendly service that made every meal feel special. Jack’s is the perfect breakfast spot. We loved eating breakfast while enjoying the ocean view. Those peaceful mornings set the tone for each day.
Our days were filled with simple joys, lounging by the pool, hanging out with our teenage son, strolling along the beach collecting seashells, and watching dolphins play in the waves. The resort’s family friendly atmosphere made it easy to unwind. There were plenty of activities for all ages (kayaks and paddle boards included!), from beach games and water sports to simply floating in the warm Gulf waters.
What truly stood out was how connected we felt, not only to each other but also to the setting itself. The resort encourages families to slow down and enjoy being together without distractions. Whether it was a quiet walk at sunset or an evening spent watching the sky turn shades of pink and gold, every moment felt meaningful.
